A Program for Every Stage of the Voyage
From the earliest weeks of life through the school-age years, Serenity Preparatory Academy offers thoughtfully designed programs that meet every child exactly where they are β and guide them confidently toward where they are going.
Little Explorers
6 Weeksβ17 Months
Safe, Loved, and Ready to Discover
The earliest months of life are among the most important. At Serenity Preparatory Academy, our infant program is built on one foundational belief: every baby deserves to feel completely safe, deeply loved, and gently stimulated. Our Little Explorers program provides a calm, nurturing environment where infants are held, responded to, and celebrated every single day.

Our Approach
Our Approach to Infant Care
We practice responsive caregiving β meaning our teachers follow each baby's individual cues, rhythms, and needs rather than imposing a rigid group schedule. Every infant has a primary caregiver who builds a consistent, trusting relationship with both the child and the family.
Our infant environment is thoughtfully designed to be calm, safe, and sensory-rich. Soft lighting, gentle music, natural textures, and age-appropriate materials invite exploration without overstimulation. We believe that a peaceful, predictable environment is the foundation of healthy development.

Nourishing Growing Minds
Infants are fed according to their individual feeding schedules. We support breastfeeding families and accommodate formula preferences. Families provide breast milk or formula; we provide age-appropriate solid foods as babies transition. All feeding is documented and shared with families daily.
Family Communication
Partners in Every Step
We believe parents are a child's first and most important teachers. Our infant caregivers communicate with families through daily written reports, face-to-face check-ins at drop-off and pick-up, and our open-door policy. We welcome your questions, observations, and partnership every step of the way.

Little Voyagers β 3β5 Years
Confident, Curious, and Ready for What's Next
Our Approach
Our Learning Approach
Little Voyagers is built on a Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy that treats every child as a capable, creative, and curious thinker. Learning is purposeful and play-based β our teachers design experiences that invite children to ask questions, investigate ideas, collaborate with peers, and express themselves in many ways. Every activity connects to meaningful developmental goals.
We focus on the whole child β academic readiness, social-emotional growth, physical development, and character. Our teachers build warm, respectful relationships with every child and family, creating a community where children feel known, valued, and genuinely excited to learn each day.
Curiosity, creativity, confidence, and independence are woven into everything we do. We believe that children who love learning in preschool carry that love with them for life β and our program is designed to make that happen.

Each day begins with a warm morning meeting where children greet one another, practice calendar and weather concepts, share news, and set the tone for joyful, focused learning. Morning work time includes literacy centers, math exploration, science investigations, STEM challenges, and project-based learning β all guided by our teachers and driven by children's natural curiosity.
Mid-morning brings outdoor play, music and movement, and creative arts. After lunch, children enjoy a rest or quiet reading period followed by enrichment activities: dramatic play, building, sensory exploration, and collaborative projects. Every day closes with a reflection circle where children share what they learned, created, or discovered β building the habit of thinking about their own thinking from an early age.
